When is Regional Flavours?
Regional Flavours kicks off with its ticketed Opening Party on Friday 13th May from 5pm – 7pm. Tickets cost $120pp and can be purchased through Oztix.
The main event (which includes market stalls, cooking demonstrations, kids activities and live music) is on from 10am – 6pm on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May 2022, and entry is free. Tickets are not required to access this section - you just need to turn up on the day. As an optional add-on to the main event, you can purchase masterclass tickets for $20pp via Oztix. Each masterclass comes complete with food and drink samples.
Is Regional Flavours a free event?
Yes, the main component of Regional Flavours (which features dozens of market stalls, live music, cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs and kids activities) is free. Tickets are not required to access this section of the event - simply turn up on the day. If you want to purchase an optional add-on, you can also do so. Where can I park?
The South Bank Parklands car park (located on Little Stanley Street) will be open. Alternatively there is paid street parking (for details, please visit Brisbane City Council’s website) and access to South Bank via bus and train (please note: CityCats to South Bank are currently unavailable). Check Translink for timetable information. Alternate car parks can also be found at QPAC, the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Southpoint and the Cultural Centre.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. Regional Flavours is family friendly, and children are welcome. To keep them entertained we also encourage you to drop into Kids Collective at Flowstate (see map). Please note that under 18s are not permitted to attend any paid ticketed events.
Is the event dog friendly?
Yes, dogs are permitted at Regional Flavours for 2022. However, please note that for hygiene reasons, dogs are not permitted into the Opening Party or the Masterclasses. If you are bringing a furry friend to Regional Flavours, please make sure that they remain on a leash at all times and that you clean up after them. Please also note Brisbane City Council’s information on dangerous dog breeds.
Where do I go when I arrive?
For the main event (market stalls, kids activities, live music and the free demonstrations) follow directions upon arrival to the entrance points. These are located on Little Stanley Street and River Quay. For Masterclasses, once inside the event footprint, head to The Country Club at Little Stanley Street North. Where can I get tickets to a Masterclass or the Opening Party?
Which tickets are available and how much are tickets?
Tickets range from $20 for masterclasses to $120 for the Opening Party (this price excludes a booking fee of 0.55c per ticket +2% handling fee). Please note that spaces are limited. If an event is sold out, we will advise on our website and on Oztix's site.
What does the ticket price for a masterclass or the Opening Party include?
The Opening Party and Masterclass events are held within an exclusive area within the event footprint, accessible only to ticket holders.
• Masterclasses – $20pp. High quality food and beverage talent will guide you as you taste your way through perfectly paired food and drink samples.
• Opening Party – $120pp. Celebrate the festival opening and brush shoulders with some of the best in food and beverage as you enjoy canapes, flowing beverages and live beats.
When do ticket sales start and end for the Opening Party and masterclasses?

Can I go on a cancellation/waitlist if an event is sold out?
If the Opening Party or masterclass sells out, a waitlist function will be enacted. Simply join the waitlist by entering your email address on the Oztix event page and you will be contacted if tickets become available.
I can’t remember which session I booked for a special event or masterclass – can I tell this from my ticket?
All event details including session times are displayed on your ticket.
Are masterclasses seated and can I choose where I can sit?
Yes they are seated, you may choose your seat when you arrive. If you have special requirements such as a request to sit close to the front due to low vision, please email email@example.com with your booking details and staff can reserve a seat for you. Please note that the Opening Party is a cocktail party and is not seated.
When do doors open for masterclasses and the Opening Party?
Doors open 15 minutes prior to your session commencing.
Can I buy a ticket at the door?
We anticipate that the Opening Party and Masterclasses will sell out, so we encourage you to get in quick! However, tickets will be available to purchase at the door if capacity permits. Please note that tickets are not required to enter the main event on 14 and 15 May (market stalls, live music, cooking demonstrations and kids activities). You can simply show up on the day to enjoy that part of the event.
I can’t find my ticket – who can I contact?

When did tickets go on sale?
Regional Flavours’ premium experience tickets are on sale from April 11, 2022.
Can I update the name on my tickets?
The tickets don’t display each of the names, but you are able to update your track and trace data at any time by logging into your OzTix account.
Can I cancel my tickets?
Tickets are non-refundable unless there is extenuating circumstances, whereby a refund is at the discretion of the Promoter. To request a refund, please email your order details and your request to email@example.com
Can I add another ticket to my order?
If tickets are still available to purchase, you will need to purchase another ticket as a new order. We cannot add tickets to existing orders.
Do I need to print my tickets?
Tickets can either be printed or displayed on a mobile device upon entry.
Can I swap my ticket for another date/session?
You will need to purchase a new ticket to the session you would like to attend first to obtain a refund for the original/incorrect order. Any fees associated with the original order are not refunded.
Is there a change of mind refund option?
Refunds will not be accepted for change of mind. If the event is cancelled, you will automatically be refunded your ticket price. If the event is rescheduled, you will have the option to request a refund or attend the new date.
If I have COVID, can I receive a refund?
What are the COVID considerations and vaccination requirements?
Per Queensland Health advice, event attendees, stallholders, volunteers and staff are not required to be vaccinated to attend Regional Flavours. Masks are also not required. You do not need to check in either.
Please note this is subject to change pending updates from Queensland Health. Regional Flavours abides by the most up to date health advice and public health order available at www.qld.gov.au. For event safety, frequent cleaning and sanitisation will be undertaken by professional cleaners throughout Regional Flavours. Please bear with event organisers if an update is delivered and requirements change. Event organisers will communicate with ticketholders and update the website as soon as possible.
Do I need to carry a mask?
There is no requirement to carry or wear a mask at Regional Flavours. However, the Queensland Government still recommends a mask if you can’t socially distance. For details, please head to their website.
What happens if it rains, do I get a refund?
There are no refunds for change of mind should you decide not to attend due to the weather. The event will proceed in wet weather unless it is unsafe to do so. Organisers operate under strict weather safety protocols to keep the event safe, and to identify when an event must be cancelled due to inclement weather.

If the event is cancelled, updates will be made to the Regional Flavours website and social media pages. Those who are subscribed to Regional Flavours e-news will also receive an email from us.
If you hold a ticket to the Opening Party or Masterclass event, Oztix will be in touch via email as well. Please note there are no refunds for change of mind should you decide not to attend due to the weather.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
