Regional Flavours presented by The Courier-Mail is Brisbane’s free, annual food and lifestyle event held in the South Bank Parklands.

It began in 2009 as a one-day market on the Little Stanley Street Lawns, South Bank, that attracted 7,000 people and showcased a handful of Queensland’s regional providores. Since then, the event has grown significantly. It is now in its eighth year, and attracts 85,000 people annually.

Regional Flavours’ defining feature is that it is uniquely Queensland – it highlights the quintessential food experiences that are synonymous with our state, including its advantageous climate, awe inspiring locations, diversity of produce and welcoming hospitality.

2016's event was on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July. The event is always completely free to attend and features entertainment from celebrity and local chefs and industry experts, live music, children’s activities, as well as produce from 80 of Queensland’s best producers and providores.
