Hello! I’m Reginald, welcome to
South Bank’s food adventure!
I’m Reginald Bertwhistle. Join me on a South Bank food adventure! I’ve travelled the world on a Grand Tour of food and now on July 20 and 21 I’m cycling to South Bank’s Little Stanley lawns for Regional Flavours 2013. As Brisbane’s signature food and lifestyle event, Regional Flavours promises scrumptious goodies from Queensland’s finest providores; captivating presentations and discussions and a weekend of adventurous, immersive, interactive exploration of all things delish. A jolly good show! Last year more than 60,000 people attended this two-day event and this year is expected to prove just as popular. So mark your journal, set your compass and follow me on your food adventure!
Tiny tastes and scrumptious plates
Ever thought picking a new restaurant would be easier if you could have a little sample first? Of course it would! Embracing the street food revolution South Bank retailers will be selling tasting plates from gourmet food trucks throughout the 2013 Regional Flavours festival.
Will your tastebuds be tantalised by the peppercorn and cinnamon harmony of a Garam Masala, the juicy combination of succulent fresh chicken with hand-made traditional satay sauce, or perhaps the fluffy moist crumble of buttery scones paired with a looseleaf herbal tea?
Taste one, or try them all. See the details here.
